CUFF SMART JEWELRY

September 2013-December 2015. 

CUFF launched the first ever fashion wearables collection in February 2014. The smart technology that powers all CUFF wearables is its patent-pending CUFF Module, a tiny wireless component that can be tucked into any piece in the CUFF collection. Users simply tap the CUFF and instantly an alert is delivered to all their chosen trusted network, providing security and an increased level of protection and connection in any surroundings or situation. The CUFF technology will be licensed to other jewelry retailers and designers so they can also create wearable technology products that are as smart as they are beautiful.

LTAG was there from the very first start of this groundbreaking brand and supported them in all aspects of their launch. 

LTAG was responsible for the design, sourcing, product development and production of all Fashion Jewelry pieces in the collection. Our factory partners handled all of the manufacturing of the fashion pieces for both e-commerce order fulfillment, as well as roll-outs for Target and for Amazon Fashion.  We guided the brand on packaging, supply chain management, fulfillment, tradeshow support, and brand management consulting.

Treesje Los Angeles is a California based designer handbag label known for its effortless glam and sophisticated styles. Inspired by Hollywood’s penchant for luxury, Treesje Los Angeles handbags are made with quality leathers and with the fashion starlet in mind.

Founded in 2005, the brand quickly became a celebrity darling with fans like Blake Lively and Heidi Klum.  The brand has continued to evolve with new chic designs, structured shapes and attention to unique details.

In 2014 LTAG was charged with the tasked of re-inventing  and re-invigorating the brand, after the departure of the founders of the collection. Tabb and team worked efforlessly to modernize the collection through great new silhouettes, branding, hardware, packaging, and bringing the brand into the new digital space with a complete rehaul of the brands website, content and social strategy.

Joelle Hawkens  was launched in 2012 out of a desire for an affordable handbag collection made of the most sumptuous leathers. Focusing on functional, cool, distinctive design. The Joelle Hawkens girl is a lot like us--rooted with both an east coast sense of style and a west coast ease, she is an urban nomad with a spirit for adventure, a taste for quality, and an unmistakable sense of style. 

 LTAG came on in 2014 to reinvent this brand, and bring it into a more competitive, consumer relevant, platform. We had to reset the drawing board…literally. Starting with new updated silhouettes and hardware, using better quality leathers from our extensive materials library, while staying at an affordable price-point by using our partner factories. We also had to reinvent all packaging, Brand DNA, and their website both front end and back end remodel. We created modern, current content, and enlivened their social profiles.

DECIBEL LEATHER GOODS

  LAUNCHED JULY 2016

Launched Decibel Leather Goods is the brainchild of a group of veteran fashion industry insiders who were looking for lux mens and womens accessories made with the finest American leathers and craftsmanship, with modern clean designs. Pieces that weren't fussy , that would last a lifetime. Worth handing down to the next generation, with the smallest footprint on the earth.

Decibel Leather Goods is the answer to that question.

LTAG is a founding member of this collective, and spearheaded the design, sourcing, manufacturing oversight  including supply chain management, and e-commerce set up and maintenance.

REBECCA MINKOFF

June 2010- December 2013

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA

LTAG worked with Rebecca Minkoff LLC to expand her lines offered as well as to fine-tune their supply chain, Developement, costing and sourcing abilities.  LTAG launched for RML 2 offshoot brands-  the first R&Em, a vegan, mass price point handbag collection in partnership with Macys. After the success of R&em, Tabb helped Minkoff launch Remi & Emmy,  a lower price point leather collection that was built to sit in the "sweet Spot" pricing the industry craved.  This allowed retailers from all levels of  the market the opportunity to have the Minkoff look, without going to competing brands.

THIS INCLUDED HERVE LEGER COLLECTION FOR WHICH SHE WAS TASKED TO LAUNCH THIS ACCESSORIES COLLECTION FROM  BEING JUST A  FEW RUNWAY PEICES THAT WERE LAST MINUTE ADDITIONS INTO A FULLY DEVELOPED RETAIL AND WHOLESALE COLLECTIOn AND PRESS DARLING.

TABB TRAVELED AROUND THE GLOBE TREND SCOUNTING , DESIGNING, SOURCING, AND DEVELOPING ALL CATEGORIES OF ACCESSORIES INCLUDING THE HERVE LEGER COLLECTION AND THE MAX AZRIA SPECIAL COLLECTION.  WIHT A TEAM OF 12 EMPLOYEES, and OVERSEEING 80 MILLION DOLLARS OF PRODUCT, TABB BOTH  GREW ALL 5 COLLECTIONS SHE OVERSAW FOR THE GROUP AS WELL AS PUT BGBG GROUP ACCESSORIES ON THE ROADMAP FOR RETAIL  BUYERS AND PRESS.

TABB LAUNCHED THE AMANDA PEARL COLLECTION FOR THE COMPANIES FOUNDERS. TABB WAS BROUGHT ON AT THE INITAL STAGES OF  IDEATION AND DEVELOPMENT TO HELP AMANDA REFINE HER IDEAS AND DEVELOP THEM INTO A WORKABLE COLLECTION OF METAL MINAUDIERES. TABB INTRODUCED  AMANDA TO HER MATERIALS VENDORS AND FACTORIES, AND DEVELOPED FIRST PROTOTYPES AND SALESMAN SAMPLES FOR THE BRAND'S LAUNCH. TABB HELPED THE FOUNDERS WITH LEARNING ABOUT THE INDUSTRY AND PROCESSES FOR  PROTOTYPING, SPECING, AS WELL AS SOURCING, AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT.

TABB AND TEAM WERE TASKED TO DESIGN AND DEVELOP A  HANDBAG AND EVENING ACCESSORIES RUNWAY COLLECTION FOR ERIN's 2007 RUNWAY COLLECTION. 

BASED ON ERIN'S STORYBOARDS FOR HER CLOTHING COLLECTION TABB WORKED WITH FEATHRSTON CLOSELY TO DESIGN A HANDBAG COLLECTION THAT HAD BOTH A BIT OF FANTASY AND A BIT OF UTILITY, WHICH ALIGNED WITH ERINS COLLECTION PERFECTLY. 

JILL STUART

2005-2007

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA

 

TABB AND TEAM WHERE HIRED BY SCHIFTER & PARTNERS WHO HAD RECENTLY WON THE JILL STUART HANDBAG LICENSE TO CREATE A COLLECTION OF HANDBAGS AND LEATHER GOODS THAT ALIGNED WITH THE JILL STUART BRAND SENSIBILITY AND BRAND DNA.

TABB WORKED CLOSELY WITH JILL A FEW DAYS A SEASON TO STYLE THE SEASONAL COLLECTION AND TO SELECT INSPIRATION PEICES THAT TABB HAD FOUND FOR THE BRAND IN HER TRAVELS AROUND THE WORLD . TABB ALS  INCORPORATED VINTAGE FINDS THAT STUART ADORED FROM HER OWN VAST COLLECTION.

TABB AND TEAM TOOK THIS INSPIRATION AND WORKED WITH THIER PARTNER FACTORY IN KOREA AND MATERIALS VENDORS IN  ITALY TO CREATE UNIQUE HANDBAGS, SMALL LEATHER GOODS, EVENING BAGS, AND SHOES. 

THE COMBINATION OF MODERN TREND AND STYLE MIXED WITH THE BRANDS VINTAGE FLAIR CREATED A FUN COLLECTION THAT WAS BOTH SUCCESSFUL AT RETAIL, WHOLESALE AND ON THE RUNWAY. 

 

BRILLIANT RTW COLLECTION

The Brilliant RTW collection

2001-2005

This collection was Lane Tabb’s (then Elena Humphreys ) first independent RTW and Runway collection. Lane created from concept through store floor 8 collections over 5 years and 2 runway shows. Brilliant was one of the first aspirational luxury brands to sell online (starting in early 2002) and was carried by esteemed retailers Takishimaya, Mark Keller, Fred Segal, and many other high end boutiques around the country.

Her collection was featured in many magazines and newspapers including Lucky, Domino, Washington Post, Cosmopolitan, Harpers Bazar, WWD and many others.

DONNA KARAN

One of Lane Tabb’s first jobs in the fashion industry- Lane working in a private atelier that Donna Karan had hand picked to make her embellished cashmere and lace knits for the Donna Karan Collection runway shows in 1998-2000.

These delicate embellished pieces were first hand knit in the New York studio on small lace knitting machines, and then painstakingly hand embellished with vintage sequins and beads before draped on the models to prepare runway garments.

Tabb sites this as the job that sucked her into the fashion industry, later to be asked to join the corporate Donna Karan Company-DKNY to work on her Kids and Jr’s lines.
